1 can organic chickpeas

1-2 cloves garlic

2 tbsp. sesame tahini

1-2 tbsp. lemon juice

Water

Flax oil (optional)

Place garlic cloves in food processor and pulse until minced. The amount of garlic used depends upon you taste. Add chickpeas and pulse until they are mashed. Add the tahini and lemon juice (again, how much depends on your taste) and turn on the processor. Add water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached. Serve as a dip with veggies or a sandwich spread. Variations: add roasted red pepper and olives.
